What This Section Solves
Elden Ring NPC quests are easy to lose track of because the game does not use a traditional quest log. This section groups the most searched quest and ending routes so players can decide when to pause progression and check NPC steps.
Quest Groups
| Group | Why players check it |
|---|---|
| Ranni | Major ending route, underground areas, and long multi-step progression |
| Fia | Ending route and Roundtable Hold state changes |
| Millicent | Late-game reward planning and Haligtree-related consequences |
| Volcano Manor | Contract sequence and Rykard timing |
| Goldmask / Corhyn | Ending route with travel checkpoints |
| Frenzied Flame | Ending lock-in risk and reversal planning |
| Shadow of the Erdtree access | Mohg/Mohgwyn Palace readiness and DLC entry planning |
Useful Quest Pages
| Page | Use it for |
|---|---|
| NPC questlines and ending planner | high-level route and missed-step prevention |
| Boss order | checking bosses that affect access or route timing |
| Build planning | preparing a character for late-game or DLC content |
Safe Habit
After major bosses or new regions, revisit Roundtable Hold, talk until dialogue repeats, and mark NPC locations manually. The map marker habit saves more quests than memory does.
